Enviromental
At the Law Offices of F. Bryan Brice, Jr., we represent individuals and businesses, serving as advocates and guides through the often confusing and difficult landscape of environmental law. We work as advocates for businesses large and small that need assistance through local, state and/or federal environmental regulation. We also help individuals and property owners to obtain compensation for property damage, loss, or injury suffered as a result of another’s environmental noncompliance or negligence. Some common environmental issues include loss in property value due to groundwater contamination, underground storage tank leaks, flooding, mold, noise and erosion. We stand ready to assist clients in ensuring that their property is restored, that they are fairly compensated for any corresponding loss of value to their property, and that any medical or personal injury claims they may have are resolved.
Our attorneys have substantial experience in virtually all aspects of environmental litigation. Mr. Brice brings to his practice the extensive training and knowledge he received while he worked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. As a member of the North Carolina Attorney General’s office, he was responsible for all environmental issues concerning the N.C. Department of Transportation.
Ms. Cralle Jones brings a wealth of experience to our team, having represented businesses as well as individuals in matters ranging from Superfund cleanups to endangered species litigation. Her reported cases include: Greene Citizens for Responsible Growth, Inc. v. Greene County Board of Commissioners, 547 S.E. 2d 480 (N.C. App. 2001); and Woolridge v. East Texas Baptist University, 154 S. W. 3d 257 (Tex. App.-Tyler 2005). Further, Mrs. Cralle Jones’ experience includes cases involving CERCLA, RCRA, OPHSCA, the Clean Water Act and the Endangered Species Act.
Our attorneys’ extensive experience dealing with North Carolina’s regulatory agencies provides a keen understanding of their policies and procedures that has proven invaluable in navigating the regulatory, negotiation and litigation processes. Both Mr. Brice and Mrs. Cralle Jones have substantial knowledge and expertise in environmental policies and litigation, and they are ready to put their experience to work for you.
